The Implementation Project Manager will lead internal and customer-facing projects to ensure exceptional customer experiences and high quality Human Capital Management (HCM) implementations, upgrades and enhancements. This role will drive project teams to deliver within deadlines and budget, document best practices and foster continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with mid-market to enterprise-level customers, serving as a trusted partner and advocate throughout the entire implementation lifecycle
- Lead multiple concurrent HCM implementations from point-of-sale through go-live, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality standards are met
- Facilitate regular project meetings, including weekly touchpoints and steering committee updates with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts and consultants to drive successful outcomes, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, blockers, and scope changes
- Serve as a point of escalation for critical implementation issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, partnering with sales and internal teams to streamline processes and support a seamless transition from sales to implementation
- Actively contribute to internal process improvements by identifying inefficiencies, providing feedback, and participating in cross-functional initiatives that enhance the implementation experience
- Manage all project deliverables and tracking through Inspire Planner (or equivalent project management tool), ensuring data integrity and compliance with project methodology.Provide mentorship and training to team members on project management best practices, fostering consistency and quality across the organization
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of project management concepts and ensure consistent use and maintenance of project management tools to drive data accuracy and adherence throughout the implementation process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in managing both internal and customer-facing projects in the HCM industry
- PMP/APA Certification would be an asset
- Deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools, with a focus on maintaining data integrity and process consistency
- Proven success supporting HCM applications, with experience in SaaS-based solutions
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical mindset, and creative problem-solving skills combined with a bias for action and execution
- Ability to instill urgency and coordinate cross-functional resources to resolve complex customer issues
- Solid technical knowledge of the HCM ecosystem and willingness to engage deeply with subject matter to drive implementation success
- Demonstrated ability to identify, suggest, and implement process improvements that enhance implementation efficiency, scalability, and customer experience
- Excellent organizational, time management, and follow-through skills with sharp attention to detail
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to executive stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience establishing and refining implementation and project management best practices
- Ability to build and nurture strong working relationships across customers, partners, and internal departments
