As we continue our evolution and growth into a leading HCM SaaS technology provider to businesses, we are seeking our next Implementation Consultant. The Implementation Consultant will oversee the implementation and continuous management of the EDI File Feed project across all customers utilizing our SaaS platform. In this role, you will act as a technical advisor, offering support and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and customer carriers, particularly concerning EDI files, payroll, and benefits extracts. Responsibilities include the development, coordination, implementation, and oversight of EDI carrier file feeds between our company and the carriers and vendors of our customers. Moreover, you will ensure compliance with all predefined processes, procedures, and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Work with new or existing customer, carriers and vendors to plan onboarding/change activities and to manage existing relationships
• Create transaction maps, connectivity testing, and other issues related to the set-up of EDI transactions 
• Configure, monitor, and interact with EDI carrier/vendor file feeds and processes to ensure an efficient and reliable transactional flow with departmental timelines and SLA’s
• Gather all EDI File feed requirements (file feed specifications, file requirements and connectivity details) for EDI File Feeds to be built and tested
• Attend and facilitate EDI File Feed kick-off calls to ensure all file specifications/requirements are interpreted accurately for translation to EDI File Feed Developers
• Complete Carrier Questionnaires to ensure all PrimePay system requirements are provided to customers vendor/carrier
• Conduct EDI file testing with carrier/vendor
• Utilize reporting tools to reconcile financial files and benefit file data to ensure data is accurately reported
• Monitor routing EDI transactions and coordinate activities of partners and internal teams to resolve systemic failures and maintain reliable processes
• Maintain documentation related to EDI processes and technical configuration. Assist in planning and testing of business continuity as it relates to EDI
• Train end-users on the proper use of the system
• Design and develop improvements to EDI processes to make them more reliable and reduce reliance on human intervention
• Resolve issues with EDI file transactions. Collaborate with carriers and customer experience teams to quickly address and solve problems, minimizing any adverse effects on the end customer
• Identify and report issues or bugs for resolution
• Validate data to identify discrepancies and work with the team to resolve them promptly
• Create manual file feeds for customers when EDI File Feeds and Extracts are not in production
• Create reports within PrimePay reporting database to capture data needed by a customer for billing and reporting of benefit data
• Document project status within project tracking software
• Update project managers when applicable: ensure effective communication by providing timely updates to project managers regarding the progress of implementation projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field or it’s equivalent in education and experience
• 5+ years of experience specifically in HCM project management or Implementation lead experience
• Two plus years of experience with one or more programming languages (SQL, JavaScript, GitHub and or Kettle Data Integration) required 
• Two plus years’ experience with Healthcare Benefit Terminology (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability, 401k, COBRA, and Flex Plans) required  
• Two plus years’ experience with building 834 and Flat Files from Carrier File Specifications required
• Minimum of one year experience utilizing SFTP protocol to transfer EDI File Feeds required  
• Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully implementing and configuring HCM modules, with a deep understanding of industry-specific processes and best practices. Ideal candidates will excel in analyzing client requirements, resolving technical issues, and providing exceptional support tailored to HCM software implementations
• Experience with multiple facets and modules within Human Capital Management Systems
• Experience in integration projects between customer system and internal systems
• Working knowledge of EDI connectivity protocols and formats, including 834 and Flat Files
• Thorough understanding of EDI documents and specifications, standards, and practices.
• Technical proficiency in software configuration, software implementation and system implementations
• Advanced troubleshooting skillset to resolve technical issues and provide effective solutions
