As we continue our evolution and growth into a leading HCM SaaS technology provider to businesses, we are seeking our next Senior Manager, Payroll Tax Services.  As Senior Manager, Payroll Tax Services, you will lead a team responsible for accurate and timely payroll tax filing and compliance. Your primary focus will be ensuring seamless tax processing, compliance with regulations, and addressing tax-related inquiries. This role demands adept operational management skills, emphasizing high transaction volumes, automated systems, stringent deadlines, and process enhancement.

What YOU will be doing: 

• Oversee day-to-day tax operations, ensuring compliance and accurate tax processing
• Manage the timely preparation and filing of federal, state, and local taxes for clients
• Assess tax operations, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing process improvements
• Supervise system controls related to tax for proper reporting and payments
• Provide upper management with insightful reporting and analysis
• Collaborate with other departments to meet client requirements
• Monitor tax processing metrics using data-driven approaches for operational improvements

Success will come if you have: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• 3-5 years of payroll experience; Payroll Tax experience preferred
• 1-3 years supervisory experience preferably in payroll or tax services
• CPA certification or Enrolled Agent designation desired
• Experience in high-volume transaction deadline-oriented environments
• Profound understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and compliance regulations
• Exceptional leadership capabilities, fostering high-performance teams in a client-centric environment
• Proficiency in payroll and payroll tax data processing applications, ensuring seamless system management
• Adaptability to dynamic priorities and a capacity to handle pressure, consistently meeting stringent deadlines
• Strategic planning and implementation skills for process enhancements and operational improvements
• Proactive client interaction abilities, maintaining professional and pleasant communication
• Strong technological acumen, adept at utilizing various software applications effectively
